In 1949 Harold Mulder Started his career as a machinist in Boise Idaho and in 1967 Harold opened "Mulder’s Auto Machine Shop", in that same year his son, Steve Mulder, started working with him after school learning the trade inside and out, Then in 1971 after graduating from high school Steve Mulder came onboard as a full-time employee and shifted the business into high gear, Steve acquired the business from his father in 1984 and became the owner/manager of Mulder’s Auto Machine Inc.

Since 1967 Mulder’s Auto Machine Inc. has always remained the Boise valley's top performance machine shop, while other shops continued to use sub-standard or antiquated equipment simply to cut costs, Mulder’s Auto Machine Inc. has constantly invested in the latest state of the art shop equipment and training, Mulder’s Auto Machine Inc. was built on a solid foundation of pride, workmanship and the attention to the smallest detail. Doing the job right the FIRST TIME and ON TIME has always been the catalyst to our continued success.
